Two-stroke

An internal combustion engine design that completes a full power cycle in two movements of the piston, one upward and one downward. This contrasts with a four-stroke engine, which requires four piston movements to complete the same cycle. Two-stroke engines are often found in smaller, lighter applications like chainsaws and motorcycles.
