Petrol engine

An internal combustion engine that ignites a mixture of gasoline (petrol) and air by means of an electric spark. This process converts chemical energy into mechanical work through the expansion of hot gases. Petrol engines are widely used in automobiles, motorcycles, and many small power tools, operating on either a two-stroke or four-stroke cycle.
