Fuzzy controller

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006998

A control system based on fuzzy logic, which uses linguistic rules and approximate reasoning to make decisions rather than precise mathematical models. It processes imprecise or uncertain input data to produce a crisp output control signal. Fuzzy controllers are often employed in applications where system dynamics are complex or difficult to model precisely, such as in washing machines or air conditioners.
