A family of microcontrollers made by Microchip Technology, known as a Peripheral Interface Controller (PIC). These devices integrate a processor core, memory, and programmable input/output peripherals on a single integrated circuit. PIC microcontrollers are found in a vast number of embedded systems, from simple remote controls to complex industrial automation and motor control applications.
