Knockoff
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003206
A product that imitates the design or style of a more expensive or well-known brand, but is sold at a lower price and does not carry the original brand's label or trademark. Unlike counterfeits, knockoffs do not attempt to deceive consumers about their origin, but rather offer a similar aesthetic at a more accessible price point. This practice is prevalent in the fashion and accessory industries.
