P2P
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004100
A logistics model where goods are transported directly from a point of origin to a final destination without passing through intermediate consolidation centers, warehouses, or distribution hubs. This point-to-point (P2P) method contrasts with the hub-and-spoke model, where shipments are routed through a central facility. P2P is often used for full truckload (FTL) shipments, time-sensitive deliveries, and dedicated courier services.
