Pavement princess
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004173
A pickup truck or SUV, usually a four-wheel-drive model, that is heavily customized with off-road accessories but is never driven off-pavement. Such vehicles feature expensive lift kits, large tires, and aftermarket bumpers, but their pristine undercarriages reveal a lack of actual off-road use. The term contrasts the vehicle's rugged appearance with its exclusively on-road, cosmetic function.
