Reaper-binder

An agricultural machine that cuts grain crops and then ties them into bundles, or sheaves, for easier handling and drying. Developed in the 19th century, this implement significantly mechanized the harvesting process before the advent of the combine harvester. It was typically pulled by horses or a tractor.
