Mower-conditioner

A farm implement that cuts forage crops and then processes them to accelerate drying. It combines the functions of a mower with a conditioning mechanism, such as rollers or flails, which crimp or abrade the plant stems. This conditioning reduces the drying time of hay by 20% to 50% compared to mowing alone.
