Cure up

To allow harvested forage, such as hay or silage, to undergo a process of drying and preservation. This involves reducing moisture content to inhibit spoilage and enhance palatability and nutritional value for livestock. Hay is cured by drying in the field, while silage undergoes anaerobic fermentation in a silo or bunker.
