Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005934
A unit of luminous flux equal to one trillion (10^12) lumens, formed with the SI prefix tera. Luminous flux measures the total visible light a source emits, weighted by the sensitivity of the eye. A typical household LED bulb emits about 800 lumens, so a teralumen is more than a billion such bulbs.
