Teraampere

A unit of electric current equal to one trillion (10^12) amperes, symbolized as TA. This unit is formed by applying the standard SI prefix 'tera' to the base unit of current, the ampere. The teraampere is not used for measuring currents in conventional circuits but appears in theoretical physics and astrophysics to describe extreme phenomena, such as the currents within magnetars or plasma jets.
