Centiamp
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001044
A unit of electric current equal to one hundredth (10^-2) of an ampere, or 10 milliamperes. It follows from the SI prefix centi but is almost never used in practice, because current is normally written in milliamperes or amperes. Multimeters and datasheets give such values in milliamperes instead.
