Thresh

To separate grain or seeds from the straw and chaff of cereal crops or other plants. This process involves striking or rubbing the harvested material to dislodge the edible parts. Modern threshing is performed by specialized machinery called threshers or combine harvesters, which efficiently process large volumes of crops.
