Tree-and-branch

A network topology characterized by a central trunk or backbone cable from which multiple branches extend, connecting to individual devices or smaller subnetworks. This hierarchical structure is common in older cable television networks and some industrial control systems. Signals propagate from the main trunk outwards, with each branch serving a specific area.
