UBC

The Uniform Building Code, a widely adopted model building code in the United States, particularly in the western states, from the 1920s until its replacement. It established minimum standards for construction practices, structural design, and fire safety to protect public health and safety. The UBC was eventually superseded by the International Building Code (IBC).
