The International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, a uniform international code for the transport of dangerous goods by sea. This code covers packaging, labeling, stowage, segregation, and handling procedures to prevent accidents and protect the marine environment. Compliance with IMDG is mandatory for all vessels carrying hazardous materials.
