USB key

A portable data storage device that connects to a computer or other compatible device via a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port. Also known as a flash drive or thumb drive, it uses flash memory to store data. USB keys are widely used for transferring files, backing up data, and carrying portable applications, with capacities ranging from a few gigabytes to several terabytes.
