Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003600
A small, portable electronic data storage device that uses non-volatile flash memory to store digital information. In industrial applications, memory cards are used in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and data loggers for transferring programs, backing up configurations, and recording process data. Industrial-grade cards are designed to operate reliably across extreme temperature ranges, such as from minus 40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
