Memory bank

A logical or physical grouping of memory modules or chips that function together as a single unit within a computer system. This arrangement allows the central processing unit to access a larger block of memory simultaneously, improving data transfer rates. In many systems, memory banks are designed to be populated with modules of the same type and capacity for optimal performance.
