Load bank

A device used to test power sources such as generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), or batteries by applying an electrical load. It dissipates the electrical energy as heat, simulating the operational demands of a real system without connecting actual equipment. Load banks are available in resistive, reactive, or capacitive configurations.
