Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000734
A logical unit of storage within a computer's main memory system, comprising one or more physical memory modules. The memory controller accesses a bank as a single entity, and its data bus width must match the width of the CPU's data bus. For example, a 64-bit CPU requires a memory bank that provides 64 bits of data per access cycle.
