Worming

A defect in molded plastic parts characterized by a wavy or worm-like pattern on the surface. This occurs when the molten plastic flows unevenly into the mold cavity, often due to variations in temperature, pressure, or injection speed. The appearance of worming indicates an issue with the molding process parameters or mold design.
