Bingo card program

A method for tracking and verifying a commercial driver's interstate operating authority and insurance status before the establishment of centralized electronic systems. Drivers carried a paper card, resembling a bingo card, which was stamped by officials in each state they were authorized to operate in. This system was largely replaced by the Single State Registration System (SSRS) in 1994 and later by the Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) system.
