Concurrency

The situation where two or more insurance policies cover the same property or liability and are written on the same terms and conditions. When policies are concurrent, they contribute proportionally to a loss without disputes over coverage scope or deductibles. Lack of concurrency can lead to gaps in coverage or disputes among insurers.
