Fixed-cost insurance

An insurance arrangement where the premium remains constant throughout the policy term, regardless of claims experience or other variables. This provides budget certainty for the policyholder, as the cost of coverage does not fluctuate. Many standard insurance policies, such as homeowners or auto insurance, are structured with fixed premiums.
