Fixed period annuity

An annuity that provides guaranteed payments for a specific, predetermined number of years. The payment amount is calculated based on the principal, interest rate, and the chosen period, such as 10 or 20 years. If the annuitant dies before the period ends, payments continue to a beneficiary for the remainder of the term.
