Group annuity

A contract between an insurance company and an employer or other group, providing retirement income benefits to a group of individuals, such as employees in a pension plan. The insurer manages the funds and makes periodic payments to the annuitants upon retirement. This arrangement offers administrative efficiency and often lower costs compared to individual annuities.
