Home foreign
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-003667
A liability program placed in the insured's home country, typically the United States, that covers the insured's operations and products abroad, including suits brought in foreign courts, rather than relying on a policy issued locally in each country. Locally issued policies are added only where law requires admitted coverage, which separates it from a controlled master program. The package form combines foreign general liability, contingent auto liability, and voluntary workers' compensation for employees posted overseas.
