Industrial insured group
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001824
A collection of industrial insureds that collectively form or own a captive insurance company to insure their own risks. This arrangement allows multiple large entities to pool their risks and share the benefits of self-insurance, even if individually they might not meet all the criteria for forming a single-parent captive. The group structure provides economies of scale and diversified risk exposure.
