Loss sensitive plans

Insurance programs where the final premium paid by the insured is directly influenced by their actual loss experience during the policy period. These plans, such as large deductibles, retrospective rating, or self-insured retention, allow the insured to retain a greater portion of the risk. They incentivize effective loss control and can result in lower overall insurance costs for organizations with favorable claims histories.
