Misclassification claims

Legal actions brought by workers alleging they have been incorrectly categorized as independent contractors rather than employees. This misclassification deprives workers of benefits, protections, and compensation they would otherwise receive under labor laws, such as minimum wage, overtime, and workers' compensation. Employers face penalties and back pay liabilities if found to have misclassified workers.
