Natural death

A death caused by internal factors such as disease, illness or old age, as distinct from accident, homicide or suicide. It is the cause behind most life insurance claims, and ordinary policies cover it from the effective date. Guaranteed issue and graded plans refund premiums plus interest for natural death in an initial waiting period, usually two years.
