Observable and measurable medical evidence that can be independently verified, rather than relying solely on a patient's subjective complaints. These findings are obtained through diagnostic tests, physical examinations, and imaging studies, such as X-rays, MRI scans, or laboratory results. In insurance claims, particularly for disability or workers' compensation, objective findings provide verifiable proof of injury or illness.
