Production of documents

The legal process in which parties to a lawsuit are required to provide relevant documents, electronic data, and other tangible items to the opposing side during discovery. In insurance claims, this often involves policy documents, claim forms, medical records, incident reports, and correspondence. Failure to produce requested documents can result in legal sanctions.
