Registered mail coverage

A form of inland marine insurance that protects against the loss of valuable property such as securities, currency, and jewelry while in transit via registered mail. The policy covers the property from the moment it is sent until it is delivered and signed for at its destination. Coverage is written on an all-risks basis, and the policy limit applies to any one package sent on any one day to any one addressee.
