Special crime insurance

A type of insurance policy designed to protect businesses from financial losses due to criminal acts committed by employees or third parties. Coverage can include employee dishonesty, forgery or alteration, theft, disappearance, and destruction of money and securities. These policies are distinct from general liability insurance, which primarily covers bodily injury and property damage to others.
