Extortion Coverage Form G

An ISO commercial crime form (CR 00 08) that pays for money, securities, or other property the insured surrenders because of an extortion threat to do bodily harm to the insured, an employee, a relative, or an invitee held captive. Loss is limited to the property actually surrendered under the threat, so investigation costs, consultant fees, and harm to reputation fall outside it. It was Form G in the lettered series of ISO crime coverage forms.
