Uberrimae fidei

The principle of utmost good faith, requiring all parties to an insurance contract to act with complete honesty and to disclose all material facts. This obligation extends to both the insured and the insurer throughout the policy's lifecycle. Failure to uphold this principle can lead to the contract being voided.
