Valuable papers and records coverage (VP)

Insurance protection for the cost of replacing or restoring lost, damaged, or destroyed valuable papers and records, such as blueprints, maps, deeds, manuscripts, and customer lists. This coverage extends beyond the physical value of the paper to include the labor and expense involved in recreating the information. It is often included in commercial property policies or available as a separate inland marine coverage.
