Accounts receivable coverage (AR)

Insurance protection for a business against losses resulting from the inability to collect outstanding accounts receivable due to damage or destruction of records. This coverage typically applies when records are destroyed by a covered peril, such as fire or theft, making it impossible to prove or collect debts owed to the business. It reimburses the insured for sums that cannot be collected and for extra expenses incurred to re-establish records.
