An insurance policy that covers losses arising from any cause unless specifically excluded in the policy language. This type of coverage provides broader protection than a named perils policy, which only covers losses from causes explicitly listed. Common exclusions in all risks policies include war, nuclear hazard, flood, and earthquake, which often require separate coverage.
