Warrant

A statement or promise made by the insured in an insurance contract that, if untrue or unfulfilled, can void the policy or relieve the insurer of liability. Warrants are typically material to the risk and must be strictly complied with. Unlike representations, which only need to be substantially true, warrants require absolute accuracy.
