Debit card

A payment card that deducts money directly from a consumer's checking account when used for purchases or cash withdrawals. Unlike a credit card, it does not involve borrowing money but rather accesses funds already held by the cardholder. Debit cards are widely accepted for transactions at points of sale and ATMs.
