Practicable

Term · Law · MLC-T-LAW-003826

Describing an action or course of conduct that is reasonably possible to achieve or perform under the existing circumstances. The assessment of what is practicable considers factors such as available technology, financial resources, and logistical constraints, without requiring the absolute best possible outcome. This standard is distinct from "reasonably practicable," which explicitly balances the cost of taking a measure against the level of risk reduction it achieves.
