Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017

A U.S. federal statute that enacted major amendments to the Internal Revenue Code. The legislation, known as the TCJA, permanently lowered the corporate income tax rate from 35% to 21% and temporarily revised individual income tax brackets and deductions. Most individual provisions of the act are scheduled to expire after 2025.
