A structured discussion conducted after an event, such as a weather forecast issuance, a field campaign, or a severe weather outbreak, to review what occurred, identify successes, and analyze areas for improvement. This process allows participants to share observations, evaluate procedures, and learn from the experience. Meteorological operations often conduct debriefings after significant weather events to refine forecasting techniques.
