Dust well
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005192
A localized area where dust and other particulate matter accumulate due to specific atmospheric conditions, often in depressions or sheltered terrain. This phenomenon can occur when winds are light, allowing suspended particles to settle, or when topography traps air masses containing dust. Such wells can lead to poor air quality and reduced visibility in confined areas.
