Light breeze
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006943
A wind of Beaufort force 2, blowing at 4 to 6 knots, which is 7 to 11 km/h. It can be felt on the face, leaves rustle and an ordinary wind vane begins to turn, while the sea shows small, short wavelets whose crests do not break. It is one step above light air and one step below gentle breeze, at force 3, where leaves and small twigs stay in constant motion.
