Mount Rose snow sampler

A device used to measure the depth and water equivalent of snowpack, consisting of a series of metal tubes that are driven into the snow. The core of snow is then weighed to determine its water content. This sampler is widely used in hydrological studies and water resource management, particularly in mountainous regions.
